Startup Seed Fund

The Startup Seed Fund is Bellatrix’s equity-focused vehicle, aimed at nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in Namibia and Southern Africa.

Its mandate is to invest in Pre-Seed and Seed-stage startups that:

• ✔ Have innovative business models or technologies.
• ✔ Are highly scalable with regional or global expansion potential.
• ✔ Are sector agnostic.

The Fund typically acquires minority equity stakes, providing entrepreneurs with not just capital, but also access to Bellatrix’s business development services, mentorship, and incubation support through the Basecamp Business Incubator.

By backing early-stage companies, the Fund plays a catalytic role in strengthening the Namibian startup ecosystem, unlocking growth opportunities, and attracting follow-on investors into the region.
